Answer(1) – CIO of the company – Modernization of the company
If I were be the CIO of the company, and then I will plan for the following modernization of the IT infrastructure of the company as below
1. Latest ERP System – Being a CIO of the company, we would like to have the ERP which have the highest standards with respect to the requirement of the company. This will helps of achieving the objective of the company while managing the cost of the company.
2. Controlled Data storages – We needs to have special focus for data storage and securities of the data, so that the company informations are secured and safe. For this we will be identifying cost effectives solution for this purpose.
3. Latest efficient Laptops/Desktops - We needs to explore latest cost effective technology for the business needs for laptops and desktops.
4. Use of Databases – We need to develop databases so that the employees can get the benefits of the IT technologies.
5. Video Conferencing & Fast Email Communication options will help the employees to get better mean of communications among them.
Answer (2) - With IOt, change in economics. Road blocks and dealing with them.
The IOT, will have impact on economics. AS the processes needs the IT enabled services for use in economics. This will have the following roadblocks as below
1. Inappropriate support from the process owners – This will be managed by helping and coaching the process owners.
2. Inappropriate support form IT development team – This will be resolved with taking proper support from the development team and resource allocating for such issues.
3. Use testing /accepting issues – This will be managed with allocating the timing of user for testing and helping the user to understand the module properly.

Following advice will be given to the organization for risk management

2. Review lead time issues in projects
