The government found the prototype impressive and asked it be extended to be the actual system that would be used. Discuss the pros and cons of taking such an approach. It certainly needs a plan-driven approach to development with the requirements carefully analysed. A waterfall model is therefore the most appropriate approach to use, perhaps with formal transformations between the different development stages. 2. Incremental development with, perhaps, some Ul prototyping is the most appropriate model. An agile process may be used 3. I think for the above task which the government wants the best among the given models would be the Anti-lock Braking System as it would be easy to maintain and making the process short,simple and cost-effective.Hence, below are some of the pro's and con's that I was able to get from the above scenario.

Hence, despite of such cons the methodlogy can be used by the above scenario and can also be made to make the above project an success because it has all it's requirements defined first only.
