Introduction:

It is no doubt that the nation which possesses the technology is said to be the super power nation. Almost all developed nations have adapted the technology which has far sighted benefits that humans have ever believed to exist.

Albert Einstein has rightly said that “ It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity ” and as far as the 21st century is concerned, his statements stand to be true.

The technological breakthroughs:

Scientists are thinking beyond the planet Earth and are making a pitch for the neighboring planet such as mars. The best example is the recent breakthrough spacecraft developed by the SpaceX Foundation. The automotive sectors have become purely electric by the inclusion of electric vehicles which are less pollutant and promote for clean and green energy.

The term Artificial Intelligence has existed since from the 19th century but as we are proceeding towards the 21st century, it is making big headlines in the world due to its penetration in the market. The latest robot “Sophia” developed by the Germany is the best case in point. She was allowed for the Dubai International trade conference where she was awarded the citizenship of Dubai nation. She thinks much like a human and can be made the best utilization out of the Sophia robot.

The other areas of highlight is the modern day fast travel Hyperloops developed by the Tesla in collaboration with other companies. A huge amount of distance can be travelled within a short duration of time. The Hyperloops have a dedicated tunnel for transportation of people. UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), Drones are also proving to be stronger when it comes to securing border areas where patrolling is difficult.

The worlds largest building Burj Khalifa in Dubai depicts that sky are not the limit. This wonderful creation of human is the live instance creativity and skills.

How can we forget about Internet which has penetrated to each and every corner of the world. A person sitting in a room can communicate with another person anywhere in the world. All this is possible due to the advancements of technology. Internet has been a playing a major role in developing countries such as India. In India, the government has started the Digital India making all the records to be digitalized.

Technology has made a deep impact on the mankind. Let us focus on the medical and health sector. Almost all tools and machinery are equipped with the contemporary state of the art technology. These tools help to predict the diseases with more accuracy and can further suggest the patients for medication.

The Booming e-commerce business, all thanks to the technology. A modern day shopping experience involves purchasing of products with just one click away. There is no need to physically visit the store/grocery and purchase the goods. Of Late the e-commerce is flourishing and making a good amount of revenue generation. The profit earned is indirectly helping the society and nation economically to grow stronger.

Internet has been a key constituent when it comes for online movie ticket booking, event planning, communication via mail, ordering online taxi, food etc,.

All these aspects of the modern day technology are making a positive impact on society for their upliftment. All these things are possible provided that they are used safely. There is also an other side of the story which has too many “what ifs”.

The downbeat of Technology:

Speaking of the recent attack on the apple cloud led to the leaking of personal photos. The Sony company which has been into the Entertainment Industry had to taste the bitterness after one of its movie was leaked online before its release.

In recent times, a social media owned by Mark Zuckerberg was into wrong news for snooping the user personal data without user consent. It was lack of clear rules and regulations which led to this hypocrisy.

The technology must be safeguarded. It should be protected by dedicated agencies by formulating proper guidelines and updating the existing policies from time to time.

People are time and again duped over the internet promising of good job by paying a hefty amount after which they escape and there whereabouts remain mystery in the virtual world.

Measures to be taken to approach towards a sound technology:

Conclusion: The need of the hour is to preserve the technology in safe-hands and defend for it. Else the day would not be too far when machines try to replace humans in fields such as jobs, services in the long run.
