Hi, what are your opinions on this topic? Thanks

Windows 10 includes several apps that are supposed to make your work more efficient, but in the lecture you learned that third party apps, many of them free because they provided by the Open Source community, are usually available for download. The quality of these alternative apps is usually good, but many people believe that using the apps provided by the operating system publisher (Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc.) usually guarantees a more stable OS performance. In fact, Microsoft allegedly does not publish some of its OS features to give its own apps an edge over others in both stability and efficiency.

What do you think about this topic? Are Microsoft/Apple/Google apps really more stable or efficient? Are the risks of downloading third party apps worth it? What do you think about the ads and user tracking features that accompany some of those ads? What has been your experience?
