The discussion board activity allows you to demonstrate your acquisition of skills and knowledge, as they relate to Information Architecture and the various methods of organization. For instance, organization methods include by location, alphabetically, time, category, and hierarchy (LATCH). Your discussion topic is to describe a current or past experience with something that was organized with good intentions but failed to provide helpful information and organize tasks.

   •   Why was it difficult to locate the items or information you were searching for in that organized structure?

   •   What could be done to reorganize the items or information?

   •   Could you incorporate any of the organization methods listed above?

At my job there was a new internet introduced as fixed wireless. The services were going to be able to provide 100 mpbs internet speeds for $60 dollars a month. It was organized with good intentions on being a cheaper Internet service than the one we provide for 80 dollars a month. Customers will get a signal from their nearest cell tower and be able to connect multiple devices for internet connection. The new service was announced to employees sometime in November, and later on that week we were provided with google earth pro application to map out the locations were services were going to be available, later that month fliers were sent out to majority of every one in the state of Mississippi and within the first few days we had over 700 orders. More than expected. we use an application JIRA to acess the orders . Am I going in the right direction with this ? can someone help me.

Your Idea seems very interesting . However,I would like to make few suggestions

Instead of 100 Mbps for all the Customers. Divide your Bandwidth into corresponding slots and price it accordingly

                         Ex: 10 Mbps : 6 Dollars

                                25 Mbps: 15 Dollars

So that you can prioritize the Customer Base . Because not all the customers might require 100 Mbps. And also you can prioritize your 700 orders according to their bandwidth requirements.

2. Arrange a team Hierarchy for each bandwidth to receive new orders or to provide service to the Customers.

3. Develop a cloud Based online portal or a mobile application to receive the grievances from the customers and sort them according to hierarchy and provide effective Customer service.

4. As soon as you reach your customer target Start Fiber-optic network as a test experiment from the lower to higher bandwidths and reduce your operational costs thereby increasing your profits , efficiency, Manual Effort, Speed and most importantly Customer Base.

Series of Events involved.

This starts with an injection of a Electronic Microchip in the individual’s body at the shoulder which is of the size of mini rice grain .

It contains a digital chip of memory 128 bytes . While injecting the chip the patient past health data is entered in digital form and stored in the chip. This chip monitors the heartbeat and sends a radio signal to the nearest hospital whenever it senses the abnormality in the heart Beat.

When the individual is met with an accident the heart beat pumps up and the signal is sent to the nearest hospital with location .Emergency Services reaches there and they will be having a frequency Decoder with frequency range of 256 Hz. As soon as the decoder is in resonance with the chip inside the accident victim the digital health data in the chip is transmitted wireless and the patients past medical history is retained.

The chip consists of the name and biodata of the patient in the encrypted format which can be decoded by the frequency decoder thereby enabling the emergency team to identify the victim.

Once the patient receives the treatment successfully updated medical details will be transmitted to the chip.
