Question

As all of us are aware that the objectives of an organization are long-term goals. The job of the Top executives is to divide those long-term goals into short-term goals, keeping these short-term goals as a target and to achieve them in particular time frame in order to achieve the final objective of the organization successfully without any delay. But these short-term goals set may be of 14 months or 16 months time frame. Maybe at times if we saw the work may not be completed at par it supposed to be for the specific time frame suppose annually or quarterly, there may be delayed but finally, it reaches the target on time at last. If the bonus of an organization is given annually and if the work is progressing at a slow pace and delayed, this doesn't mean that the organization will not be given the bonus to the executives. Because it may be completed finally in time. Short time delays are usually common due to the lack of resources, delays in getting resources, Handling of Multiple tasks etc., but eventually, it completes work will always be completed in time in most of the times unless there is the major struggling issue from the management. If a bonus is given, it is an indication to the executive that organization is supportive of him and his morale become higher.

Explanation / Answer
