They can be used by in organizations by the network administrators to help them to see what’s going on in the network. For instance, if there is some problem then these tools can help to produce a detailed report of the network. This provides a good insight of the network to the admins to see performance of their network and help them to do quick diagnose and troubleshoot the network faults. It helps them not only by saving time in pinpointing the source of the problem but also it can reduce network downtime drastically. These tools are necessary for all organization no matter what is the size because network is so important for IT companies. The time taken by troubleshooting and then fixing the networking issue, directly affect the wasted costs that it causes to any system relying on the network.

After doing research on various tools I believe that it for Enterprise users PRTG is great option and for home users NetSpot is the best. NetSpot is a great tool for analysing the wireless network and also for troubleshooting problems. It is very is easy to use. It is available for both for beginners and advanced users. It not only provides detailed report, it also creates visual maps of the data that is very easy to understand for the normal user.
