Answer: The collective values, attitudes, beliefs and principles which are shared between the members of an organization are known as organizational culture. This is the unique social and psychological environment prevailing inside the organizations. It defines the behaviors of the individuals inside the organization. There are three levels of organizational culture namely basic values and assumptions, espoused values and Artifacts. The Artifacts are those aspects of the organizations which are visible inside the organizations like the dress. The espoused values are the strategies, goals and philosophies of the organization and Basic assumption and values are unconscious core values which are followed by the organizations. The functions of the organization include facilitating co operation, decision making, control, communication, commitment and perception inside the organization.
