The Appearance prints the first impreesion on the customers mind who is going to avail the services of the hospitality . The sustainanble development is followed by many hotels as it helps in benefit of cost reduction. The goal of the hotel management is to provide the services either by doing sustainanble development or by not doing so. But many hotels are following this sustainabile development or greening their hotels.
I would like to take two examples of the hotels one is Six Senses Con Dao hotel, Vietnam and another one is The Park, Hyderabad India. Both the hostel have some similarities regarding sustainable development.
Former hotel have Architecture which is designed in this way that it didn’t have need of Air Conditioning. By this designing the hotel management have reduced the cost of paying for the AC and the Electricity charges which in turn reduces the pollution due to AC. It helps in the development of the country and also for the earth.
Later Hotel has designed in this way that maximum natural light comes inside and also, they have the culture for the green transportation and they gives incentives also. This helps in the development of the sustainable environment. They reduce the cost of the electricity and gives the benefits to the environment.
But, one may think that the sustainable development can be affected by the hotels who don’t have much budget and space too. But it didn’t happen as they can greenify the Terrace, they can manage the water consumption and conservation system, etc.
So, as per the report I have identified that hotel industry has started following the sustainable way to provide the services. In this services the customers are also taking part to make our surrounding healthy.
