The following explains on the components of negotiating:

Fact- Finding

Conciliation

Mediation

Arbitration

The fact finder would find on the reality of the situation on negotiation. Fact finders act as a neutral for both the parties.

Conciliator will not have legal authority but through communication would solve the disputes.

The mediator will have no link with both the parties on negotiation. So that as a third party facilitator fair decision can be provided.

The negotiation is done through mutual understanding or agreement by the Arbitrator.
