Explanation / Answer

C. your neutrophils are within normal range Polymorphs (also known as polymorphonuclear cells or PMNs) area type of white blood cells. There are three varieties of PMN, themost common of which is the neutrophil, which also happens to bethe most common white blood cell in the body. The neutrophil is aninfection fighting cell and travels quickly to the site of aninfection. Once there, it ingests and then destroys the invadinggerms — and itself in the process. It doesn’t have along life span, just a few hours. Think of the neutrophil as a kindof white blood cell shock troop: fast and brutally efficient, butwith little finesse.
