The movie had generated anger, as even today in the 21st century the person is judged on his race and is deliberate without any inferences judgement is passed. This happens when the Attorney's wife call the blacksmith to change the locks and assumes that he would be back to attack her with his"homies". Another scene when Matt dillion accuses an LHO worker of racial preference as well as he stops and searches a black and white female, this shows that role in the conflict of the emotions lack of intelligence.
