Maslow theory of motivation:

In the Maslow theory of motivation , he had explained on the need based framework of employee motivation. The self esteem on the hierachy needs help the managers to recognize on the employees towards their work and performance. So that the respect, consideration on the employees would motivate them to increase their work performance. Denise recognition program on good performer and new productivity goal would encourage the employees to achieve their work performance.

Explanation / Answer

Denise is a new manager at the Royal Espresso coffee shop. After her first week on the job, she found that sales and productivity were both down from the month before. She has been trying to think of ways to motivate her employees, so she did the following: 1) set up a new recognition system to identify good performers—their names will be put on a plaque that is placed in the break room, and 2) developed new productivity goals. Using the text as your guide, list and describe in your own words all the motivational theories she is demonstrating for each of her actions.
