You can easily do your homework before going to the interview session. You can know about the person , canmake some predictions about his/her questions which will help you in getting the job easliy. If you talk about your appreance in front of hiring manager then you can easily tackle the situation in many ways. You can simply say like every student prepare for the test before going you were also doing the same or you can say that you just clicked on his/her profile by mistake. There are also some other ways to tackle the situation.

A hiring managr gave this advice to candidates interviewing for jobs: In advance of an interview, check the LinkedIn profiles of the people you will be meeting. LinkIn generally makes users aware of who has been viewing their profiles, and it will give the hiring manager the apperance that you are doing your homework. Does this sound like snooping to you?
