I'm just learning network security and I have some questions related to open ports on a specific network.Only web services (HTTP and HTTPs) and map service (SMTP) should be allowed from outside of the network. What do these scans show in relation to these rules? Can someone explain the significance of the information in these scans?

Our system uses many ports for different purposes. Ports like you have mentioned are important but like if you'll try to connect to a network your PC will first communicate to a DHCP server and ask for an IP and these communication takes place on port 67 and 68. Hence different ports have different purposes and are crucial for systems.
For Eg. - Port no. below 1024 are assciated with services of operating systems.
Ports from 1024 to 49151 are registered and they are helpful in knowing what services are running on your PC.
after 49151 ports are for private uses.
Your result shows which application is using which port to communicate with the servers.
