For my Capstone course in my IS program, we have to design a Hangout Application on Visual Studio. I am in charge of the database and am having some problems setting it up. Here are the five tables I have:
User - UserID/ FirstName/LastName/Age/City/State/Zip/FavoriteMovieGenre/FavoriteRestaurant/FavoriteSport/FavoriteOther/Email
Movie - MovieID/Theater/Street/City/State/Zip/MovieName/MovieGenre
Restaurant - RestaurantID/Name/Street/City/State/Zip/FoodServed/Rating
Sport - SportID/Name/Park/Street/City/State/Zip
Other - OtherID/Name/Area/Street/City/State/Zip
These are the exact column names. We have to have a webpage for each of the activites where the user can input what they want to do.
Example: Let's say you wanted to watch a movie, you would input your favorite movie genre, which city you live in, as well as the state.
What would the SQL look like in order to join those tables and how many foreign keys would have to be added to the tables?
