- Employee performing similar roles club in similar departments and perform activities assigned to them.
- They also consist of similar skill sets
2. Why do I think so:
In our organisation we have different departments like:
1. Sales
2. Pre sales
3. Consulting
4. Human Resource Department
5. Finance department
6. Administration Department
For every department there is a Manager and a team under him or her
In a particular department people are hired with particular skill sets. For example Sales department hires only people who are skilled in selling.
Hence it is a functional organisation.

- Matrix structure can be defined as a mix of functional and project based structure.
- there would be two or more bosses to whom an employee would report to.
- this structure depends upon the projects
4. Why do I think so:
- Matrix organisation structure is flexible
