Question

Does anyone know if there's a video on YouTube or somewhere for this assignment? It's due tomorrow and I have no clue how to it.

Your client, an earphone manufacturer, requires you to work with their audio engineer to optimize the geometry for the tube leading to the bass port. The tube needs to fit within a specific volume and must be a uniform circular section throughout. The audio engineer will need to know the internal volume mm3, length(mm) and ID(mm) of the tube for her calculations Question 1 1) Using the extruded surface tool, create an uncapped extrusion with the following dimensions: X= 10mm Y:50mm Z-4mm (make sure sketch is fully defined In relation to the origin) 2) On one of the 10mmx4mm surfaces, create a sketch with two concentric circles representing the solid section of the bass tube. The outer circle must aways be tangent to 3 edges of the volume created in step 1) and therefore fully defined The wall thickness of the tube must be 1mm 3) Create a second sketch that describes the path of the Bass tube. This must be on a plane coincident with the Centerpoint of the sketch in 2), and perpendicular to That sketch. The tube must begin and end on the same plane And have a uniform circular section throughout the length Of the tube. Using centerlin es and the equal relation ensure that the outer circumference of the bass tube is always tangent to the volume created in step 1). Do NOT use any numeric dimensions 4) Sweep a solid feature to create the bass tube 5) Create another parametric swept boss that represents The internal volume of the bass tube (You may find it useful To hide your extruded surface created in part 1)) Do NOT use any numeric dimensions 6) Create a drawing of the part showing top, side, end elevations And overall dimensions. Add a comments box that records The internal volume in mm3, center length (mm) and ID (mm) of the bass tube to aid audio engineers. 7) Save part file as sw9_question1.prt and dwg file as sw9_question1.dwg Question 2 The client needs to change the dimensions. Typical 1) Resave your part file from above as sw9 question2.prt 2 Change the dimensions of your extruded surface to: X= 12mm Y=60mm Z:5mm And change the wall thickness of the tube to 0.75mm 3) Create a drawing of the part showing top, side, end elevations And overall dimensions. Add a comments box that records The new intern al volume in mm3, center length (mm) and ID (mm) of the bass tube to aid audio engineers. 4) Save part file as sw9_question2.prt and dwg file as sw9 question2.dwg Your grade will be reduced if you fail to: - Fully define all sketches make model parametric -Get incorrect volume calculation

Explanation / Answer

Well after rigorous scanning on YouTube, I did not find any video related to this assignment.

And this assignment seems to be an engineering drawing course which requires a certain software for completion. Moreover, this whole assignment is difficult to be completed in 2 hours (the time which we get for each question).

I would suggest you to create two different posts on Chegg containg one questione each and post it on relevant field since this is not related to Computer Science.
