Hi,

I have worked with few startups in India. I am writing this answer out of my learning experience please go through it.

For any business or individual's website or blog, there should be target set of customers. Their primary goal is to make a site to show up in the Google within the first searches or want to get more free traffic to the site.

In order to achieve this SEO for your webpage is required. SEO means Search Engine Optimization i.e a creative process to improve the visibility of a website in search engine. Making the free user turn into a paid customer is the main function of SEO.

It is the responsibility of the company or one's individual to allocate budget for SEO of their website.

i. Keyword Research:
1. Use https://keywordtool.io/ or https://adwords.google.com/intl/en_in/home/tools/keyword-planner/ (Google Adwords Keyword Tool) for searching the frequency of the words and also get suggestions.
2. Don't overstuff with keywords on the page as you may get over-optimization penalty from Google. Use the principle, KIS(Keep it simple). Concentrate on 5-7 Keywords for each page and optimise for those keywords or keyword phrases.
3. Compare all your competitors webpage list out the keywords they are using and target the customers.

ii. WordPress:
1. If you are using the wordpress in the website then definitely you are on the right track. Enhancing the WordPress SEO is important for bringing more free traffic to the website.
2. Use SEO friendly URL's which have words that explain the content of the page and they are easy to read by both humans and search engines.
3. Choose the best WordPress SEO plugin such as Yoast SEO or All in one SEO pack.

iii. Content:
1. I could say "Content is the king in the SEO" the good content brings more and more traffic. It is good to have a content development teams and content marketing team for making the user turn into paid customers since it could be huge investment but it is worth.
2. Content is good for both users and search engines. So in order to please them ensure there is quality content on your website page. Quality content could be through Blogs and Articles, Tutorials, Infographics, Video Content, Podcasts, How to Guides.
3. Content marketing educates the visitors to the point that they’re ready to purchase your product. They attracts users for free and they can create the content that get shared easily.
4. Avoid Plagiarism while constructing Content.

iv. Link Building:
1. Link building is important SEO tasks. The primary goal of link building is to get other websites to link to yours.
2. Most website pages will have a hard time generating organic links to raise their rankings in search engines. This is why link building is such a popular services.

3.Create link-worthy quality content. Infographics is good example. Create a beautiful image providing important information and provide the infographics to use by anyone on their own websites in exchange for linking back to yours as credit resources.

v. Tracking your results:
1. In order to know the reason behind the organic growth follow the analytics and daily update the keywords to get higher ranking in search engine.
