How do companies use Centralized Control Systems? How do companies use Decentralized Control Systems? How do companies choose between centralized and decentralized systems?Explanation / Answer
where the activities and aspects are more confidentail, more risk, total organization will effects, then firms uses centrlized control systems. in this, the decision making power is in the hands of higher authorities on those issues, which effects the total organization as a whole. here the core system will be designed it ownself (like Artificial intelligence) and works the system by following in-put provided by the operators. for example Railways or Airways uses centrlized control systems in their operations. the action of one reflects on the action of other system, and all they works together. another simple example is dial watch, if you look at the three points in the watch, they works together integratedly only. they can not go individually.
when it comes to decentralized control systems, where all the parties or multiple parties in the organization makes their own decisons and independent decisions. there is no single controller or authority to make decisions regards this and all parties are independent in nature. when the actions of one is not effects the action of others, then organizations chose this system. for example security system of a nation, the actions of defence is differ from the actions of navy, and the actions of ariforce is different from the above two. these three departments works for the security purpose of a nation only, but have their own obligations and own decisions.
any organization can chose their own prioritized systems based on its structure, objectives, goals and needs. many organizations follow both these systems at different levels, but do not stick to one kind.
