Lyft Marketing Plan- Marketing FinalPlease respond to the following regarding a targeted city marketing plan:
How would you tackle the ‘blank slate’ that is city marketing? How would you identify the key passenger and driver acquisition opportunities in your city (Philadelphia)? How do you identify the opportunities?
Lay out a out a passenger marketing plan as well as a driver marketing plan. Please also include how you would fold a suburban strategy into the mix.
Some things to note: you can look at this as a fresh slate - imagine that there have never been any marketing efforts in Philadelphia, Allentown, or anywhere else in PA. Be as creative as you would like - budget is not an issue in this instance.

Explanation / Answer
Solution : Going with the Lyft strategy, in Philadelphia, first of all I'll introduce cab-sharing service with a branding and a friendly slogan to bind passenger relation with driver, so that it wouldn't only be the relationship of driver and passenger, but it would be a relationship of sharing and hanging out together. The passenger type would define the kind of product mix in this city. If the majority of passengers are executives or professionals going to their offices regularly, then I would prefer decent drivers on board with professionalism. Otherwise, if mostly passengers are young students or yoiths going their intitutes, then I would prefer to have drivers more like as Lyft strategy - Fellow taking passengers with them on their cabs to get occupied their free seats and earning in part time. So according to type of passengers, strategy to have drivers will change. Drivers need to have good soft skills hence they can be trained on soft skills, which will help them to interact with passengers while driving and make travel a fun activity, as in Lyft culture. Ladies driver can be promoted to give female empowerment and also, can be emphasised & ensured women safety in share-cab service. As a marketing strategy, social media and networking will be used to spread the awareness about the services offered by us to PA city. Some attractive benefits would be announced for both drivers and passengers, who avail initial service with us - to increase market penetration initially. Hoardings and road shows can be organised for publicity. To find out the opportunity, people can be interviewed for their feedback post availing our services. Drivers can be encouraged to share their experiences and stories.
