Explanation / Answer

1. As long as it does not breach the peace of the Organization or violate any of its policies, it could be a good idea for businesses to try to use informal influencers to more smoothly implement business decisions and reduce employee resistance. In a way, that would save the Management from constantly trying to convince the employees with no real gain to the negotiation. On the other hand, informal influencers can vouch for willing cooperation to adapt to the business decisions so taken by the Management without showcasing much resistance towards the same. Hence, although the influencer may be an informal but if the same is not an Ultravire to Organization’s activities, then it may be considered for the betterment of the entire Organizaiton.

2. I would first look into the kind of change my Company is proposing to bring into the Organizational system and whether I am myself convinced with it. If I am, then I may be a in a better position to convince the same to others. Therefore, it is only once I am convinced that I may prefer to get myself involved with my Company regarding the use of my influential tactics keeping in mind that it does not violate my Professional ethics as well, and then would accept to join the training programs to educate myself about it and then influence others with the same with the view to realize our overall Organizational mission and vision statements in a more harmonious and coordinated way.
