There are so many techniques available which we can use in this scenario like “Interviews, checking of logs, questionnaires, observation”. Observation is one of the main technique, we need to observe the IT operators and users, the source documents needs to be checked and verified. System schedules needs to be checked whether they are working as per the process or not. Report generation needs to be tested. New questionnaires should be developed to take the feedback from the users. We can take this feedback by conducting interviews with users and managers. Logs should be monitored thoroughly so that issues if any can be identified at an early stage.
