Question

I am looking for help with a nesting a google sheets / Excel function

Some background: I have a spreadsheet that automatically compiles approved paid time off and vacation requests. Using the sample table below:

A B C D

=SUMIFS(C2:C9, A2:A9, "Taylor", B2:B9, "vacation") - calculates the the sum of the hours provided n colum C that match "Taylor" and "Vacation"

Using the same table of info

=SUMIFS(B2:B99,C2:C99, ">" &F18,C2:C99,"<="&F19) - calulates the sum of hours between preestablished dates - the "F" cells are 4/1/2016 and 4/30/2016

Is there a nested EXCL function that can provide me the sum of hours that meet the conditions "Taylor" and "PTO" and between the dates  4/1/2016 and 4/30/2016

thanks

Taylor Vacation 8 5/1/2016 Mark Vacation 0 4/30/2016 Jenna Vacation 0 3/1/2016 Taylor Vacation 8 5/2/2016 Mark PTO 1 5/1/2016 Jenna PTO 2 3/30/2016 Taylor PTO 3 5/20/2016 Mark PTO 4 4/30/2016 Jenna PTO 0 3/2/2016
