Most Power supply units such as fans comes with 90mm or 120mm of size, however some power supplies (recommend) comes with two, one intake and one out-take. Now it’s very much important to keep the power supply cool as it will prolong the life of the power supply. A power supply that needs this type of cooling that does not have an operating fan can reduce its life significantly, because it will only be a matter of time before things get too hot inside that little box for components to melt or even can explode due to heat.
Systems that are only relay on power supply to cool the inside temperature of the case is not going to work effectively. Case can come in all different sizes and style. Having a minimum intake and out-take fan in place will make a big difference in system as long as the room temperature is less than the temperature inside the computer.
Upgradeability
You might not be supplying your system with enough power. The amount of money you save from upgrading to a high-efficiency PSU is minimal if you don’t actually draw much power to start with. So in the end you will spend more money on your system compared to what you could have saved if you bought a sufficient power supply.
