1. The purpose of a quality management plan is to describe and explain how quality will be managed throughout the lifecycle of the project, and define how the Project Team will implement, support, and communicate project quality practices for use with the project. The plan, with regards to quality metrics, will include the processes and procedures for conducting quality planning, quality assurance, quality control and continuous process improvement.

Quality management plan also includes establishing the quality standards, identification of the quality metrics to be applied, creating the quality checklists, and conducting problem remediation activities.

Quality metrics that might be used in J-I-T (just in time) training are cost reduction (i.e. the measurement of recouping of investment) and number of people trained (meeting goals of the people who are trained).
