Question
State if you agree or disagree with this statement and why?
Does the presence of constitutional rights for public employees help to improve or hinder the quality of public service? Explain.
The presence of constitutional rights for public employees should in my opinion help employees to improve the quality of public service. I believe it allows employees to feel protected and appreciated and allows employees to perform at a higher level because they know that they are covered under certain rights. Throughout the semester we have discussed the idea of employee sustainability and the culture within organizations. With employees having certain rights including things such as freedom of speech, expression, association, privacy of information, liberty and off-duty conduct, equal protection, affirmative action and many other protections, these employees can participate in everyday work knowing that they are protected and cannot get fired for certain words or actions under their rights.
Explanation / Answer
According to the constitutional rights for public employees in the amendements it was clear about constitutional rights protects the right to free speech. As the employees have certain rights in the workplace because they are the servants under government and they should not lead to any illegal works.Employees are being protected under the rights of the government and they always help to improve the quality of public service.
I agree that public employees help to improve the quality of public service because in past days there will be less services provided by the public employees. But now there are lots of schemes provided by the government to give the best services for the public by giving the information in the right time and always respect them with there pleased language.Constitutional rights plays the major role to provide the best services to the public because in rights it clearly mentioned that there was a right to free speech and can give any kinf of information.
