The general purpose and methodology of the statistical process control is based on statistical data analysis using statistical tools such as control charts. The chart is constructed using the variable control charts. It involves collecting the data, choosing the method, setting the limits and then plotting the data.
The data represents the weight of the precooked salmon and the range of weight of precooked salmon.
As an inspector, I can say that there is a high variation in the weight of the meals. The mean is in control but the variation is causing the process to be out of control as in 11th sample the range is beyond the upper control limit.
Vendor is supposed to take care of the size or weight of the salmon he is supplying. there is too much variation in the size.
