I need to add a script to my html5 and css to ask the user for their first name then I need to take the name and save it as a cookie that is retrieved
and shown to the user on the page (not using an alert) upon subsequent visits with the greeting "Welcome back to our site
(put user name here)" I have been working on this for the past couple days and have gotten no where. If anyone could give me an example or briefly explain what or how to do this I would highly appreciate it thank you in advance.
