INTRODUCTION

All the organization it may be a start-up or a big multinational firm, an HR is held responsible for maintaining the process in the organization. The responsibility and maintaining of the workforce are completely depending on an HR to make the schedule for the betterment of the organizations. The HR decides about the different policies for the benefits of the employees and to keep a long-term relationship with the employees (Losey, 1999). The organization follows different HR trends which only an HR decides to bring the change in the management procedure. From the recruitment process of hiring new employees and to full and final settlements all are done by an HR. The basic objective of an HR is to guide the employees to work sincerely and to provide that all the essential benefits to the employees so as to make a good ethical environment in the organization.

HR FUNCTIONALITIES AND ROLES

In order to function well for the betterment of the organization, it is necessary to identify the potential requirement in the organization by an HR. The most focused points which are necessary for an HR to take care of are as follows: An HR should have the idea to fix any serious threats that can lead to any unpreventable situation before it occurs in the organization. All employees or the entire workforce should not be harmed if it is not fixed before the time.

The second important factors in which an HR is required to take an action on the correct planning and making proven strategies which is very much important in taking decisions to solve any problem in the organizations. Proper implementation of new strategies can give a new way to maintain the workforce of a company. An HR is required to identify the weaker areas which require implementations, by all the ideas and experiences that an HR has gained can be useful to take this as a challenge and to make the things changed for better functioning (Cascio, 2005).

HR policies should be as per the rules and regulation of the countries which are very necessary to be utilized properly among the organization. All the rules should follow the government constituency norms and labor laws. It should include the proper working culture, the pay structure as per the work and designation for different employees working in the organization. Each and every law should be properly structured and there should not be any breach of a law is mandated by the organization. This will give a belief and faith in the eyes of the employees towards the organization and its HR policies. This will motivate the employees to work efficiently to fulfill the goals and it will also maintain the workforce which is very necessary to be maintained.     

To make an organization productive, maintaining ethics is very necessary to reach out the goal. Ethics are something logical initiatives or rules which are very necessary to run businesses in an organization. Especially when it comes to an employee it is very necessary to maintain an ethical nature and work environment in an organization (Kaufman, 1999). Like for an example if an organization does not give any proper intimation before sacking of its employees then it purely unethical practice as the employee may search for a new job if they have given any proper intimation before certain days.

Decision making is the most important part of an HR because it may give a loss to the revenue generation for the organization and on the opposite side it can also touch the feet of success. As per the standards of an organization, an HR fixes the plan for implementing ideas and creates new plans to initiate in the system (Gaugler, 1988). It is the most important areas where the ethical decision is very much necessary to maintain well-structured planning, following principles and to maintain all objectives. HR should know all the areas of the company and its functions and styles, this will give them the ideas to reconstruct the changes that are required to fix the issues in areas that are more crucial for the side of company’s growth. Considering all facts it is very necessary to undertake the decision ethically so that employee working culture and compensation structures remain smooth and maintain a seamless process in an organization.

CONCLUSION

To drive the workforce of any organization proper motivation of employees in their work is absolutely necessary. The entire workforce is depending on the employees who can meet and enhance the business as per the needs of the clients. To motivate them and to educate in their working operations are very much necessary. If they will learn new things from subordinates they will get the idea to do their work more perfectly and accurately. To maintain a proper workforce team building is the prime aspect of working culture because to be with the team in completing the work is very desirable in any organization. The idea of sharing and mutual learning process are quite necessary for the work to make it perfect, it also motivates the employee to work accordingly within the target without feeling or thinking of any pressure in work. An HR should make certain policies so that day to day employee can get the training from the professionals which will them to sustain better growth in the organization.

The guidance from seniors is very crucial in the workforce because they have that long year of experience in this domain to do better and give the best performance in the work. An HR should be held responsible to maintain this kind of mutually learning activities in the organization.   It will enhance their skill of working ability and brings a major growth in performance. The reward system is also necessary to uplift the state of mind of an employee in the organization because it gives a boost to the in working to get better rewards if their works are appreciated and in addition they get more respect which also motivates the work power. Some HR appraisals are highly beneficial to motivate the employees in the work.
