Question

We have seen that strong arguments can be given as to why encryption tools are needed to safeguard communications in cyberspace, yet we have also seen that these tools can be used by terrorists and criminals to protect their communications in cyberspace. In the wake of September 11, can a case be made for not allowing ordinary users to employ strong encryption tools in Internet communications? On the contrary, can we still claim to live in a free society if government interception of e-mail communications, as provided for in the Homeland Security Act, is routinely carried out?

Explanation / Answer

I don't have any technical reason for using these software's but these are very important to protect ourselves and others from diversionary results. A very simple rule of the world is that " if a father provide his children with all facilities and don't look what his children are doing then all the children mostly forget the right path and choose a wrong way." Simple is the case here internet was invented for facilitate the humanity but it was not look after by the government. In the result some or mostly people start using it for wrong purposes as you mention terrorist are using net for destroying the humanity. So some cyber software like dilemma are very important to save people from some dangerous results. If government will not check what the nation is doing then one day nation will destroy itself.
