Part 1: Identifying the customer and their problem

Target segment focused by Snapchat comprises of user that are smartphone users with internet access and age between 13 to 54. In this case the user or the target audience are the primary decision maker. Specifically, according to researches conducted above 60% of smartphone users in U.S that age between 13-34 years use snapchat. Also 37% of users fall under the age group of 8-24 years. 12% of users are between the age group of 35-54 years.

The primary problem that our organization will help in solving comprises of occupying people and refreshing their minds. Also, the apps earlier version came with no instructions for users, which made it challenging for teens to make it work. However, as the users grow and they encounter problem with features, the app is now available with instructions.

Part 3: Reaching the customer: As the target segment comprises of teenagers; most effective marketing strategy for Snapchat will be to promote the product on other social media like Twitter and Facebook. Apart from this they should heir a popular face, whom teens follow rigorously for becoming the brand ambassador of Snapchat.
