Attitude refers to a way or approach by which a person responds to a particular situation. Attitude is the very important reflection the personality an individual possesses. Attitude is made up of the three components that are named as affective, cognitive and intentional component. These three components combine together to build an attitude of a particular person.
Whenever an individual faces a particular scenario, he or she gets a feeling regarding the scenario that takes place on the basis of affective component. Afterwards, an individual analyzes the scenario on the basis of cognitive component and past knowledge. Finally, he readies himself to take action as a response to the scenario. It acts as an intentional component.
Here, all three components are closely linked together and help in building a stable response or attitude. These components act as precursor of one another. For example, affective component decides the type of feeling that leads to the type of analysis as cognitive component. On the basis of cognitive component, action is taken as intentional component. Hence, each component guides another component.

Affective Component: I am overburdened with the work, but my colleagues are enjoying their time at work.
