Explanation / Answer
The role of front desk receptionist will be crucial for the success of an organization. He / she will not only receive the information from outside prospects but also handle the visiting or walking customer to the organizational premise. I will design the training program for this job position by utilizing the conceptual framework of ADDIE. It stands for Analyze, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluation stages. Now, we shall explain each steps involved in designing the training process,
For example: A personality improving video lecture and a practical test might be created for the training to the receptionist. The focus will be on improving the contents of training.
3) Development: At this stage, effort will be done to upgrade and enhance the abilities of the receptionist. Here, a close supervision will be put for the receptionist so as to know his behavirol development. It might be possible that some efforts will be initiated to improve his personality and overall motivation level.
4) Implementation: Here, main emphasis will be to continuously improving the personality and skill set of the employee. New tools and techniques might be utilized after seeing the outcome level from the receptionist.
5) Evaluation: At this stage, it will be tested that whether the receptionist has improved emotional stability and confidence level. Whether he or she is ready to take the major challenges organization is facing right now. An evaluator will check the total cost and the related outcome from the training program organized by him. Feedback from each participant and the receptionist will be taken so as to improve the whole training program.
