Duty of obedience is a fiduciary duty of an employee to comply with the instructions of his/her employer all the time for the performance of the work. The employer's right to give instructions must be within the supervisory rights and any illegal or inappropriate instructions can be avoided.

1. Ensure that the organization complies with the applicable rules and regulations

2. Acts in accordance with its policies and carries out its mission appropriately
