Answer for Q1:
There are two aspects to it. Let me explain as below.
A] To grow a business, we've to enter into multiple conuntries, states and recruit people with various cultural backgrounds. This becomes very important and complex to integrate multi culture environment especially adding human resources from multiple cultures because their upbringings, habits, attitutes etc. are diversified and hence needed appropriate training, brainstorming to gel very well. This is a lengthy process & does not happen overnight.
B] To transform the company and take into a new direction, the mindset and the status quo of the existing employees, customers and all stakeholders need to be changed. This requires significant efforts from the senior management team to help them bring on the new and focused areas where company is trying to move. This is challenging task given the human psychology which resists to existing state of type of work, attitutes, method of thinking and many more.
Answer to Q2:
There are many ways in which this can be done. Let me explain few as below.
A] It is the senior management including CEO that needs to be the first one to reach out to the employees and make them feel that we're a team together trying to achieve common goals.
B] This is very important that how a senior management engages with the employees/managers etc. This has to have an effective way in communicating via video conferences, webinars, closed room meetings making them confortable so that freely they can speak their concers, problems, areas for improvements and also the best part about our company as well as the other many stakeholders.
C] This also has an approach of not engaging with the employees with some pre-conceived notions. That would not make the things easy but the complicated.
