I compiled the following program and i'm tring to understand the output for data type float single_precision_number. I know that the decimal point moves put why the numbers are different. Please help. Also explain the output for double double_precision_number. Thanks

response = 1 charater = D integer = 123 single_precision_number = 1234.56787109375 double_precision_number = 1234.5678901234569 size of double is greater than float so it can hold more numbers than float. thats y in precision double can hold more digits than float :
