Dear , As per your requirements,Data-migration is a process of converting large database from source to destination.Here we need to concentrate what are the enviroment the source data is existing and to where the database is migrating i.e Destinatiion . If both source and destination are both are working under same configured systems then the migratioin process time takes less,or else if source and destination are under two differnt platforms then you need to selecet the commercial or free migrating tools to migrate your source data.
