I am looking for a way that makes a computer act as a (server / client) and sent out Midi files to other computers and play instrumentson those computers.

For example:
Computer A is a server and sents out midi files to group of computers (B,C,D and E)
Computer B starts to play this particular instrument
Computer C starts to play another instrument
Computer D starts to play 3rd different kind of instrument
Computer E plays 4th instrument
ect.

Computer A manages computer B,C,D, and E. Control the types of instruments they play, volume, speed, ect.


How do I set this up or is there a software like that?

there's many programs out there that can offer that. I know that with an ipod app called remote you can play music from your laptop but be controlling it on your iphone or ipod just google the type of program
