Patterson writes in his well known book:       'What happens when a register is read and written inthe same clock cycle? We assume that the write is in the first half of theclock cycle and the read is in the second...".
from this sentence I understand that the pc register is firstlyincremented and then read but in several books andarticles I read that it is firstly read and thenincremented. Please help.
