List of elements of motivation to manage:
1. Favourable atitude towards authority: This element of motivation to manage expects from Manager's to have full control on their behaviourial skills. Manager's need to focus on how they treat their superiors? Do they professional respect for their superiors? Whether they practice unfair practices while working? Do they listen superiors for ther advices or suggestions? Do they consider's their contribution?
Managers ignoring above mentioned behaviour while working with superiors, would likely causing staff to pass negative comments or opinions and inviting problems to his profession.
2. Desire to Compete:
Managers need to keep in mind that while practicing managerial practice he/she need to be competative in terms of excelling his/her skills with respect to the peer. The competition should be healthy and should be focused on gaining knowledge and excellence in skill.
3. Assertive Motivation:
The fiundation of handling the managerial role is to have strong and firm management. The masculine is related to strong and confident view, opinion, clarity of thoughts and behaviour.
4. Desire to excercise power:
Manager should excercise his power towards his suboordinates in alignment with the organisational strategic objectives. Manager should not practice exhibition of power for self pride or satisfaction. This may lead to inviting serious implication on organisaitonal managerial governance.
5.Desire for distinctive position: Manager's visibility to group of people follow him or observe him, makes impact on thier minds. The manager should have ideas to engage people or interact people or involve people to take initiatives. This spreads positive messages of manager's distinctive position within the group and in the organisation.

In earlier career of profession I was having wrong mindset about the earning money. I used to consdier the money is the ultimate truth for living life. However, when I grown in my career for the past 14 years, I experienced that I have always looked for challenging work. This is the instrinsic drive for me. If any one give me hansome salary and ask me to do nothing then I will be having no value of that money. I will get bored with this as I am not using my brain.
In summary I would say I consider money as the secondary motivator. The primary motivator is performance I achieved by working on the task.
