The CNN journalist Anderson Cooper, a primary anchor of the CNN news show Anderson Cooper 360º. Anderson Hays Cooper aged 50 is from Yale University. Although he never had a formal journalism education and he followed his passion. He is the person who gave us many important stories like Tsunami of Sri Lanka, Royal wedding of Prince Charles etc. He always avoided his personal life in the news but on July 2, 2012, he allowed to publish an email in public which gave a clear indication that he was a homosexual. He broke the silence and he proudly said that he was, have been and will always be happy being a homosexual. After the legally accepted same-sex marriage in 2011 in New York, he came out with the truth. He accepted that he never was worried about being a homosexual. It has not affected his career rather he was supported by many of his fans. He also moved everyone's attention of Barack Obama endorsing homosexual marriage as per Dailymail. He took a very brave decision and he is not ashamed of it. No, it has not made any difference in his career or personal life as he told once that he is not an activist just a human being and he will not give up his journalism career. He was only distressed with the fact that people might set him as a role model and hide things in public. He was worried that he was becoming an example for hiding his personal life as he was a public figure. Yes, Anderson progressed as a journalist. Yes, I see him as a leader in human-interest stories and talk shows. Even Brian Moylan in The Guardian Weekly said, "Cooper is an excellent journalist in his own right" and Cooper himself admires his public as still, people cheered his interviews and news coverage. He represents himself as one of the victories of his community. Although, Cooper perceived the revelation could be a threat to his journalism but nothing could embrace his confidence, distinct and unique ground reporting. He is a person with courage, a fighter, self-content, fearless enough to face the hurdles in his life in a less formal environment.
