Explanation / Answer
1. I would talk about the Telecommunications industry. BI is very important in Telecom mainly because it helps us reach a solution which is based on actual Data. Customer segmentation, customer usage, customer preference can be tracked which helps in further analysis and promotion of the best and customized offer to the customer.
In the coming decade it is going to be more improtant with ever increasing subscriber base and ever increasing competition. New tools and AI would be available which would help in capturing real time data.
AI is the act of automation of machines or developing systems such that can act like humans or assume human intelligence. Such systems are going to be extremely important in future since it enables capture, analysis and interpretation of real time data which helps us take a correct decision in a complicated business scenario.
KM or Knowledge Management is the art of understanding/interpreting knowledge and saving those for further reference. It is going to be more important since so much of content, process, methodologies needs to be stored in a repository such that we can learn from what has happened and know about what the industry has been through.
