Some companies have removed developers from designing the user interface and pushed that role to Visual Design professionals. Discuss the pros and cons of this approach.
Explanation / Answer
Yes , some companies have been removing developers from designing the userinterface and pushed that role to visual design proffessionals because of the difference in jobs only. Developers main work is to develop the code but not to design the interface. And Visual Design Professionals are the one who are proffessionals who produces this designs only.
Because of this in view the efficiency would be increased. Because now a days presentation of any thing plays major role in success also. so for this companies giving preference to visual design proffesional to effectively design the user interfaces.
Also because of this process time will saved because developers only need to concentrate their development and the visual design experts will concentrate more on to design the user interfaces. After comleting this two then finally these will be merged and used.
The disadvantage would be it is cost burden to the organisation to maintain 2 resource for the one work. Also if there is any error in any one of the product and userinterface then the whole functionality will stop untill the 2 people available.
