Now i am going to explain the situation given that is for suppose we might be needed to expand this environment to accommodate a small office with six employees then we definetly need to use a router but router will be sufficient only to 4 members so we will use switch to expand our network ports that are available on our router.

3. now if we want to create wireless network then it is our wish to create a wireless network but for us we need to supply internet for 6 employees in a small office they may use laptops so we will create a wireless network with our router.

4. Now we have to measure the distances for all hardwired devices of 6 employees in a office This is not much of an issue in most homes. but network cables cannot run longer than 100 metres. so if you have to run cable farther than this then you will need switches in between.
