The company taken is Tata Motors. It is an Indian headquartered Multinational Automobile Company and most renowned company in the Indian manufacturing of automobile market. Being 5th largest manufacture of heavy and light automobiles, it employees more than 6000 in India. It a private organization and a part of big and well known Tata group which was founded in 1868 in Mumbai, India. Tata group operates in more than 100 countries with 540000 employees across all its companies. The organization structure of Tata motors is more open and interactive. The employees are encouraged to have open discussions with superiors and both formal as well as informal communicated is encouraged for exchange of ideas. The company provide maximum employee benefits so that employee will feel motivated as well as more bound to the organization. It have relatively Flat structure and facilitates easy and comfortable interaction among different levels in the organization. They have three levels of management - upper management, senior management and the middle management. Open and Flat structure promotes innovative ideas and free thoughts in the organization. Thus, I will say that the current structure of TATA Motors is highly effective and efforts to make it more effective needs to be made with passage of time. Stakeholder’s Like customers, suppliers, employees,etc. are feel connected with the organization if they have the say in the organization. Flat structure promotes healthy discussions among subordinates and peers, informal communication,etc. Tata believes in business ethics and try at most for maintaining healthy environment at workplace. Being recognized as the best company of India in providing customer satisfaction and best place to work, its organizational structure plays a very important role in this.
