Trait theory includes the leaders that have honesty, emotional maturity, motivation, etc. In situational theory, leaders develop the necessary skills as required by the situation. Transformational theory states a charismatic leader that helps to reach his followers to their maximum potential while achieving the goals. There are many more theories of leadership, through the knowledge of which, a person can develop the required skills that will define his personality and action needed to complete a task profitably and within the time limit.
10(c) One of the dimensions of trustworthiness is consistency, which is predictability in competence. Consistency includes individual predictability, judgment and reliability in handling any situation. The person must be assured to know that you are capable of performing the task. The trust when predicting someone’s capabilities is assessed through his consistency in performing his job.
12(d) Grapevine: Although the communication is passed by marketing manager to the operations supervisor, the flow of communication is not formal and proper. The marketing manager just overheard the vice president about the layoffs. Proper communication was not made.
