Date not coming out correctly when using forrmula
I am calculating the difference in time between colummn I minus column G annd output the data into column L. The time comes out correctly but the date does not. I need the datee to be the same date on Column I.
My formula in column L is =I2-G2
1 A B C D E F G H I J K L M 2 0613195 ABC DEF 8/4/2014 10:05 8/1/2014 14:24 8/1/2014 14:34 8/1/2014 14:34 8/4/2014 15:53 8/4/2014 15:53 67:31:00 1/3/1900 1:19 5:48:00 3 0615583 ABC DEF 8/13/2014 7:43 8/12/2014 14:05 8/12/2014 14:26 8/12/2014 14:28 8/13/2014 12:23 8/13/2014 12:23 17:15:00 1/0/1900 21:55 4:40:00 4 0618745 ABC DEF 8/25/2014 1:29 8/25/2014 1:29 8/24/2014 19:36 8/24/2014 20:53 8/25/2014 8:22 8/25/2014 8:22 4:36:00 1/0/1900 11:29 6:53:00 5 0617900 ABC DEF 8/21/2014 10:15 8/21/2014 10:15 8/21/2014 9:08 8/21/2014 9:20 8/21/2014 12:25 8/21/2014 12:25 0:55:00 1/0/1900 3:05 2:10:00 6 0619372 ABC DEF 8/26/2014 15:32 8/26/2014 15:32 8/26/2014 15:02 8/26/2014 15:02 8/26/2014 16:21 8/26/2014 16:21 0:30:00 1/0/1900 1:19 0:49:00Explanation / Answer
Not sure exactly what you need, sisnce you don't giive an example of the result you want, bbut try these three options:
=INT(I2)+MOD(I2-G2,1)
or
=I2+MOD(I2-G2,1)
or
=I2+I2-G2..
