Multiple LOOKUP requirements...
I have a relatively large spreadsheet that changes frequently (weekly). I wanted to create an easy way to populate the correct pay rates based on the pay code associated with each employee. It would need to first look at the pay code next to the employee's name in column E, then at the pay type in column F (ie: regular time, over time, double time), then find those two values in another sheet "RATES" and return the pay rate associated with those two criteria to column H.
Example:
WORKSHEET 1 - "COMBINED"
WORKSHEET 2 - "RATES"
Any help is MUCH appreciated!

Hi,
with your data in sheet1 in the range A1:H11
and in range A1:D6 in sheet2
Try this:
=INDEX(Sheet2!$A$1:$D$6,MATCH(E2,Sheet2!$A$1:$A$6,0),MATCH(G2,Sheet2!$A$1:$D$1,0))
