In a few short sentences please provide me with your thoughts on the following paragraph. I believe it is very important because I relate Information systems to my work place. We have a system called IWIMS (Interim Work Information Management System) and it integrates all the work the squadron is conducting. It allows certain shops and leadership to go into a specific work order for a building or item and see the status of the job. This system allows everyone to have a birds eye view of what is going on in our organization. If everyone didn't have that ability to see the system, we would be getting phone calls galor regarding information about different things. We recently just gave one of our leadership personnel access because they didn't know what we actually did. Once this person received rights and saw first hand what we did on a daily basis, we have received zero phone calls from them! Its a blanket effect, the more integrated you allow personnel in your organization to understand the system, the better off it will be.

Explanation / Answer

Without further research into the mentioned system, I cannot give you a very accurate opinion. However, it does sound like a useful system in organizing all the needed information in one place and allowing an overview at any time on the current procedure. But it sounds like you are saying that this information is still limited to certain personnels. Those that do not have access to your system would still have to call you to...find out the information.
